ABOUT US
EXCELLENCE AND PROFESSIONALISM
We breed Alaskan Malamute puppies and Alaskan Malamute Mix puppies. Our dogs are pets and live with us indoors as members of our family. Every puppy is health tested, DNA tested and health and temperament guaranteed.
TESTED AND
TRUE
We use both Puppy Culture and Midwoofery in our dog-raising approach. We keep our puppies with their parents until 10 - 12 weeks of age depending on each individual puppy's temperament. When you bring your puppy home they will know basic commands, have some leash walking skills and will have started their potty training and crate training.
PERSONALIZED APPROACH
Our one-of-a-kind approach creates dogs that are even-tempered, loving and have low prey-drive. It is of utmost importance to us that the puppies we bring into this world are gentle, loving and loyal members of their families. Our dogs are raised alongside our cat, bunnies, budgie, and small children from day one.
THERAPY AND ESA DOGS
We start a 12-week training program with our puppies when they are just 3 days old to prepare them for work as ESA and Therapy dogs. After 12 weeks puppies must pass an evaluation in order to be placed in a home for Therapy or ESA work. Puppies that do not pass are available for adoption as regular pets. Those puppies that do pass and are placed in homes that intend to use them for Therapy or ESA work and will continue a training program with us once per week until they are 12 months old. At 12 months the dog can participate in the CKC Canine Good Neighbour Test. Upon completion of the Good Neighbour Test, dogs can start working in public settings in a Therapy capacity. Those dogs who show an aptitude for service work can also be independently trained for their specific handler's medical condition. Dogs that are intended as service dogs will need to pass the British Columbia Guide Dog and Service Dog Certification Testing. This test must be recertified every two years.
